Educationally Enriched ...


Our Principal Mrs.Ratnalekha Shetty is one among the 15 educational leaders across the world to be chosen by the US Department of State to be a part of the prestigious IVLP-"International Visitors Leadership Programme".


The delegates for this programme comprise of educational leaders from 15 countries across the world, which include Bahrain, Bhutan, Eritrea, Jordan, Mexico, Nigeria, Oman, Phillipines, Sensgal, Singapore, Sudan, Rwanda, Russia, and, Uruguay.

The programme spanning 19 days will have the group travelling to Washington DC, Jacksonville-Florida, Austin-Texas, and Dallas-Texas.This educational journey will give Mrs.Shetty and her co-delegates multiple opportunities to observe, learn and understand the educational system in the USA, the challenges faced by the educators and learners, the methodologies used to evolve curriculum and also the latest innovations in terms of pedagogy, administrative systems and technology.

Most importantly, the group will get to observe day to day activities at various elementary schools, high schools, teacher training colleges, district and state educational boards across the USA.

We Sancta Marians count ourselves lucky for our Principal to have gotten such a rare opportunity, and we are eagerly waiting for her return, so that all of us, students, staff and parents, may profit from her learnings.
